Toronto, Vancouver housing still hugely desirable despite recent challenges

Toronto and Vancouver remain among the world’s most desirable cities for homebuyers and investors, ranking 20th and 24th globally. Their strong economies continue to attract attention, but it’s clear that high housing costs are impacting overall Quality of Life scores. With Canada needing to build between 430,000 and 480,000 homes annually to address affordability—targets we have yet to reach—the market remains competitive and dynamic.
